ERA-EHS believes in practicing social responsibility and contributes to both local and international organizations that work towards building a better world.
Currently, ERA sponsors a number of children through World Vision, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to working with children and communities to overcome poverty and injustice in nearly 90 countries. ERA has been a World Vision sponsor for 10 years; our co-founders have sponsored children in poverty for over 20 years. ERA also regularly donates funds to the Red Cross to help their humanitarian efforts.
ERA actively supports Angels of Mercy, a registered, non-profit organization that provides food, clothing, and personal care items to Montreal's homeless population from November to May. Their goal is to provide healthy meals and warm clothing to the homeless people of Montreal by volunteering, donating supplies, and partnering with local organizations.
Every year ERA provides the $10,000 "ERA Environmental Consulting Inc. Bursary" to a new full-time student enrolled in the faculty of Arts and Sciences at Concordia University. The bursary is open to citizens, permanent residents, and international students in need of financial assistance.
ERA considers education a core business value. Our co-founders regularly set time aside to speak to students and participate in mentorship programs.
ERA is continually reducing its impact on the environment. We keep our carbon footprint low by working from home and hosting virtual meetings with clients. Thanks to our energy-efficient offices, e-recycling initiatives, and workplace practices, we won the 2012 West Island Chamber of Commerce Accolades award for Sustainable Development and became Canada's Sustainable SME of the Year at the CanadianSME Small Business Magazine Awards 2022.
ERA parraine plusieurs enfants par l'intermédiaire de World Vision, une organisation humanitaire à but non lucratif qui œuvre auprès des enfants et des communautés afin de lutter contre la pauvreté et l'injustice dans près de 90 pays. Les cofondateurs d'ERA soutiennent cette cause depuis 1997. ERA effectue également des dons réguliers à la Croix-Rouge afin d'appuyer ses initiatives humanitaires.

De 2016 à 2022, ERA a remis chaque année la bourse « ERA Environmental Consulting Inc. » d'un montant de 10 000 $ à un nouvel étudiant à temps plein (canadien ou international) inscrit à la Faculté des arts et des sciences de l’Université Concordia et ayant besoin d’un soutien financier. Nos cofondateurs ont contribué aussi à hauteur de plus de 400 000 $ au financement de la recherche et de l’innovation en génie.
ERA s’engage à réduire continuellement son impact environnemental. Grâce à nos initiatives de recyclage des déchets électroniques et à nos pratiques de travail responsables, nous avons remporté le prix du développement durable de la Chambre de commerce de West Island en 2012 et avons été nommés PME durable de l'année au Canada lors des CanadianSME Small Business Awards en 2022.
